Grown-ish is the spin-off of the comedy Black-ish. The Grown-ish comedy series follows Zoey (Yara Shahidi), the oldest daughter of the Johnsons, when she goes to college and finds out that not everything goes as she wants now that she has left the parental nest. In season three, Zoey and her friends are moving to a house outside the campus. They soon realize that they have been mistaken about the disillusion of adulthood, with real problems such as student loans, a difficult balance between life and study and also relationship problems.
Freeform has already decided that Grown-ish will have a fourth season. In addition to Yara Shahidi, Trevor Jackson, Francia Raisa, Emily Arlook, Jordan Buhat, Chloe Bailey, Halle Bailey, Luka Sabbat and Diggy Simmons play roles in the series. The series is produced by ABC Signature Studios, which is part of Disney Television Studios. Grown-ish is Freeform's most popular series in the 12 to 34 year-old target group.
