Aloha Hawaii Five-O

Aloha Hawaii Five-O

After ten seasons, the Hawaii Five-0 (1968) reboot will come to an end. The final episodes of this series will release in April.
A two-hour episode will be broadcast on CBS on the 3rd of April. These episodes will be the last, the Hawaii Five-0 series has not been renewed. The procedural crime series premiered on September 20, 2010 and is a remake of the series from the 70s. The series attracted more than seven million viewers per episode, on average.

When the series ends on April 3, it will have had 240 episodes. That is 39 less than the original series. The series is set on the tropical island of Hawaii and has had ten seasons, not all without controversy. For example, two cast members left after the seventh season after a contract dispute. Apparently there was some rumbling about O’Louglin, he portrays Steve McGarrett, who was about to leave the series and this eventually led to the decision to cancel the series.

"It’s never easy to say goodbye to a hit franchise that carried on the legacy of the original with such distinction while establishing its own signature style,” said Kelly Kahl, the president of CBS Entertainment. “From episode one, Hawaii Five-0 has been a huge success for us. Thanks to the amazing talents of the producers, writers, cast and crew, it has played a key role for a decade on our schedule and helped establish our powerhouse Friday night. We cannot be prouder of its quality, longevity and are thankful for the passionate fan-devotion it inspired. "

On the 3rd of January there was a cross-over between Hawaii Five-0 and that other series that takes place on Hawaii, Magnum, P.I.

Well .. on the one hand a pity because the series looked nice but on the other hand I am not very sad about it .. Scott Caan (Danno) has been seen quite little in recent seasons and Adam, Junior and Lou have no added value for me. Jerry wasn't up to much either .. although it wasn't the actor himself. Tani was a good addition but the lack of Grace Park (Kono) and Daniel Dae Kim (Chin Ho) could not be compensated for. I also liked Quinn!

Agree that after the departure of Kono and Chin it did get worse. Hope they make a nice ending and then it has been good with this series. We may still see some of them in Magnum.

Too bad, but hopefully a good ending, which the series certainly deserves.
