Heartland renewed with its fifteenth season + premiere date given

CBC has renewed the Canadian drama series Heartland with its fifteenth season. In October, the ten-part new season will start.

The longest-running Canadian scripted drama series is going to continue for a bit longer. Heartland has been renewed with a ten-part fifteenth season at CBC. Last March, the final episode of the fourteenth season aired on CBC. The new season will premiere on the network on the 17th of October.

For over fourteen years, Heartland can be watched on Canadian television. Back in 2007, the series premiered. It is based on the bestsellers by Lauren Brooke. The series takes place on the horse ranch Heartland, where mistreated and neglected horses are given the life they deserve. After her mother died, it's up to fifteen-year-old Amy to save the family business. Amy is a horse whisperer, just like her mother. Alongside her sister Lou and her grandpa Jack, she fights to preserve the dream of Heartland.
