Trailer and First Photos for How to Die Alone Released

The trailer for Hulu's new comedy series How to Die Alone has officially dropped. Created by Natasha Rothwell, the series follows Mel, a penniless JFK employee who is depressed because she's never been in love and fears she'll eventually die alone.

But when she has a near-death experience that changes her entire outlook on life, she begins a journey of self-acceptance and finally wants to live life to the fullest. The result is an accessible and tender series about loneliness, heartbreak, and hope, with a touch of fantasy and magical realism.



The cast also includes KeiLyn Durrel Jones, Jocko Sims, Bashir Salahuddin and, for fans of How to Get Away with Murder, Conrad Ricamora.

Creator Rothwell and Vera Santamaria are co-showrunners and executive producers. Desiree Akhavan is also an executive producer. How to Die Alone is produced by ABC Signature in association with Big Hattie Productions.

The first four episodes of How to Die Alone premiere Friday, September 13 on Hulu.
