The premium date of I Know This Much Is True has been revealed. In America the series will appear on HBO at the end of April. Mark Ruffalo (The Beat) portrays a double role in the series. He plays the roles of the twin brothers Dominick and Thomas Birdsey, who, despite their identical appearance, differ greatly from each other. Melissa Leo (
I'm Dying Up Here) can be seen in the series as their mother.
I Know This Much Is True is based on the book of the same name by Wally Lamb. The first episode of the six-part miniseries will release on the 27th of April.
Next to portraying the two main characters, Mark Ruffalo also produces the series. The drama is directed by Derek Cianfrance (The Place Beyond the Pines). Rosie O'Donnell (
SMILF), Archie Panjabi (
The Good Wife), Imogen Poots (Green Room), Kathryn Hahn (Mrs. Flechter) and Juliette Lewis (Natural Born Killers) have a supporting role in the series.
