Insecure ending with its fifth season

The American dramedy Insecure will be ending with its fifth season, which was announced earlier this year.

Back in May 2020, Insecure was renewed with its fifth season. In 2016, the series premiered at HBO. The network has now revealed that the fifth season of Insecure will also be its final. Supposedly, production on the fifth season will start later this month, and the season will premiere later this year.

Insecure tells the story of two African-American women and their friendship, experiences and tests. One of these women is portrayed by Issa Rae (A Black Lady Sketch Show), who also created the series alongside Larry Wilmore (Grown-ish).
