Invasion takes place in various continents and follows an alien invasion through multiple perspectives from all over the world. Shamier Anderson (Goliath), Golshifteh Farahani (gen:LOCK), Sam Neil (Flack), Firas Nassar (Fauda) and Shioli Kutsuna (Kamagowa shokudô) portray lead characters. Apple TV+ has shared the first teaser.
On the 22nd of October, Invasion will premiere on Apple TV+. The first three episodes will then release, after which a new episode will release each following Friday. The series has been written by Simon Kinberg and David Weil, who will both also serve as executive producer. Invasion has been directed by Jakob Verbruggen (The Alienist).
