Amazon Studios, Skydance TV and Paramount TV Studios are working on a new series called Jack Reacher. It has just been revealed who will portray the lead character.
Back in July 2019, Amazon Prime Video announced that they've ordered the series Jack Reacher. It is based on the character from the internationally bestselling novels by Lee Child. Reacher is a veteran - 195.6 cms long and weighing between 95 and 110 kilos - from the US army who is researching suspicious activities. These will often endanger him. The lead role will be portrayed by Alan Ritchson (Titans (2018)), who fits the character description perfectly.
Nick Santora (Scorpion) has written the series. Next to that, he will serve as showrunner and executive producer. The first season will focus on The Killing Floor, the first book from the Jack Reacher novel series. It is not yet known when the series is set to premiere. In the movies - which were previously made -, Tom Cruise portrayed the titular character.
