King of the Hill Unveils Trailer and New Actor as Khan for Season Fourteen

Ronny Chieng, comedian and correspondent for The Daily Show, is joining the fourteenth season of Hulu's King of the Hill revival.
Ronny Chieng will take over the voice role of Khan Souphanousinphone from Toby Huss, who voiced Khan in the first thirteen seasons. Huss, in turn, will take over the voice role of Dale Gribble, originally voiced by Johnny Hardwick, who died in 2023.

Hulu announced in 2023 that Hardwick would return for the revival, and he had already voiced six episodes before his passing. Huss takes over as Dale starting in episode seven.

Khan is Hank's Laotian neighbor, who lives with his wife, Minh. He is arrogant, competitive, and convinced of his own superiority over the other residents of Arlen. He often clashes with Hank and strives to be "the best" at everything. Khan adores his daughter, Connie, but tries to control her life and believes she's too good to be around Bobby Hill.

Hulu also unveiled a new trailer for the upcoming season. It reveals that the story picks up several years after the original series. Hank and Peggy Hill return to Arlen, Texas, after years spent working on their retirement savings in Saudi Arabia.

They try to reconnect with old friends Dale, Boomhauer, and Bill. Meanwhile, Bobby lives in Dallas, pursuing his dream of becoming a chef and enjoying life in his twenties with former classmates Connie, Joseph, and Chane.

The original King of the Hill (set in the fictional Arlen, Texas) followed Hank Hill, an enthusiastic propane and accessories salesman, his wife Peggy, a Boggle champion and substitute teacher, and their son Bobby, who defied all Hank's expectations for a son.

Hank's friends—the conspiracy theorist Dale, the military barber Bill, and the tough but taciturn Boomhauer—as well as Peggy's friends Minh and meteorologist Nancy, and Bobby's girlfriend Connie, helped the Hill family navigate a changing world.

In addition to Chieng and Hardwick Huss, Mike Judge, Kathy Najimy, Pamela Adlon, Stephen Root, and Lauren Tom also return for season fourteen.

The Emmy-winning series originally ran for thirteen seasons and has over 250 episodes, all of which are available to stream on Hulu.

Season fourteen of King of the Hill premieres on Hulu on Monday, August 4th. Watch the trailer below..
