Kommissar Marthaler is an German crimi series which is aired on ZDF. The series premiered on February 27th 2012.

It had to be a joyful day for Robert Marthaler, because his girlfriend returns after a long time. Through a brutal murder that day is disrupted brutal. A dentist was murdered and after examination it becomes clear that the victim was tortured for a long time. Because of the terrible murder, Robert totally forgot to pick up his girlfriend Tereza from the airport. From this moment it seems as if Tereza is vanished of the earth...
