Alex Pina (White Lines), creator and writer of the series has placed a picture on Instagram that shows him in a hammock, with a laptop on his laptop. In the text below, he confirms that work on the next season of La Casa de Papel has started. Netflix hasn't revealed anything officially yet.
Before the third season (fourth part) came out, there were already rumours about the season after that. According to Spanish media, the fourth season (the fifth part) of La Casa de Papel would be the first part of a new story, which would result in another season. The streaming service hasn't confirmed this either.
La Casa de Papel
La Casa de Papel originally made for the Spanish network Antena 3. The first season had fifteen episodes of 70 minutes each. Netflix purchased the international distribution rights, cut into it and turned that first season into two separate seasons. The first part/season had thirteen episodes and the second part/season had nine. The fourth season has just - unofficially - been announced, which can also be referred to as the fifth part/season.
