In the season finale of the first season, Jon Hamm’s oil tycoon Monty Miller was taken down, leaving Tommy in charge of his late boss's oil empire, alongside Monty's widow Cami, portrayed by Demi Moore.
It was already suggested that Moore would have a larger role in season two, and the new teaser confirms this: Cami now presents herself as a ruthless businesswoman, while Tommy makes it clear that he holds the real power. However, their partnership quickly threatens to turn into a struggle. Alongside this power struggle, we once again see Tommy’s wife Angela (Larter) and daughter Ainsley (Randolph), who is heading off to college.
New faces are also introduced, including Sam Elliott, returning to the Sheridan universe after his role in the prequel 1883. Angela’s actress Ali Larter described the upcoming season as a true rollercoaster, with Tommy becoming entangled in a partnership with a local cartel led by Andy Garcia’s character, in addition to the pressures of the family business.
The cast is further strengthened by Paulina Chavez, Kayla Wallace, Mark Collie, James Jordan, and Colm Feore.
The second season of Landman begins on Sunday, November 16, on Paramount+, followed by weekly episodes. Watch the teaser below.
