New trailer for Landman season two reveals role of Sam Elliott

Paramount+ has released the trailers for the second season of Landman, revealing the role Sam Elliott will play in the series.Landman — from Taylor Sheridan, the co-creator of Yellowstone (2018) and maker of numerous hit series — was a major ratings success in its first season. In the new season, we see how Billy Bob Thornton's character Tommy Norris, a seasoned oil "fixer" from West Texas, once again finds himself at the center of the powerful oil industry.

A new trailer released by Paramount+ confirms that Sam Elliott will play Tommy's father, whom he addresses as "Pop" in the trailer. It also becomes clear that the oil company Tommy and Cami (Demi Moore) now lead is facing allegations of embezzlement, insurance fraud, and wire fraud.

"The sharks are circling," Tommy is told — in other words, "The sharks are already circling around you."

Landman season two premieres on Sunday, November 16 on Paramount+. It will be available on Streamz starting Tuesday, November 18, and on SkyShowtime from Friday, November 21.
