Alexander Payne (Hung) has stepped down from the Landscapers project and will no longer be directing. Will Sharpe (Giri/Haji) will be taking over from him.
Earlier this year, Alexander Payne (Hung) was appointed the director of a new series called Landscapers. He would also serve as executive producer, but now Payne isn't involved anymore. Will Sharpe (Giri/Haji) will be taking over from him as the director of the series.
The series is based on true events and tells the story of murderers Susan and Christopher Edwards. The couple killed Susan's parents, but the case remained unsolved for quite a few years. Olivia Colman (The Crown) will be portraying Susan. Landscapers will consist out of four episodes, which will be recorded next year. The series will be produced by Sister (Chernobyl) and is a co-production between HBO and Sky.
