‘Last Man Standing’ and Tim Allen are coming back to ABC for a fifth season. The fourth season had an average of 6.85 million viewers. That is nine percent more than the season before.
Enough reasons for ABC to renew the sitcom about Mike Baxter (Tim Allen) who is marketing director of Outdoor Man Sporting Goods Stores. For the fifth time Baxter will have to stand his ground in a household full of women. The rest of the cast members are: Amanda Fuller, Christoph Sanders, Flynn Morrison, Hector Elizondo, Kaitlyn Dever, Molly Ephraim and Nancy Travis.
According to Deadline, some extra negotiations were still needed before the series could be renewed. The fifth season will probably help 20th Century Fox TV sell the series into syndication.
