Breaking Bad actor cast in Law & Order: Organized Crime as Stabler's brother

A familiar face from Breaking Bad has joined the cast of the fourth season of Law & Order: Organized Crime in a major recurring role.
Dean Norris, who played DEA Agent Hank Schrader, the brother-in-law of Bryan Cranston's Walter White, for five seasons on Breaking Bad, has joined the cast of Law & Order: Organized Crime in season four.

Norris (pictured) will play Randall Stabler, the older brother of Elliot Stabler, played by Christopher Meloni, in multiple episodes. As previously announced, the upcoming fourth season will feature Stabler's brothers Randall and Joe Jr. to introduce.

Randall, who left the family when he was young and is now a successful real estate developer, has long-standing tension with Elliot due to an event involving their father.

As previously reported, John Shiban will replace Sean Jablonski as showrunner for season four of the procedural NBC crime series, which is slated for a midseason return.

Law & Order: Organized Crime is produced by Dick Wolf, John Shiban, Paul Cabbad, Meloni, Arthur W. Forney and Peter Jankowski.

The series is produced by Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, in association with Wolf Entertainment.

Norris played Hank Schrader in all five seasons of Breaking Bad. He was recently seen in a supporting role on Chuck Lorre's comedy series United States of Al, which ran for two seasons on CBS. His other television roles include Claws, Better Call Saul, The Big Bang Theory, Under the Dome, Scandal and Get Shorty. He also appeared alongside Meloni in the 2014 film Small Time.
