Peacock has released a 30-second spot featuring some of the same footage from the previously released trailer three weeks ago, preceded by a quick cut to a blank screen and Benson (Mariska Hargitay) saying "Elliot" before sitting at his bedside. Watch the teaser below.
Hargitay's appearance on Organized Crime — her fourteenth Law & Order: Special Victims Unit crossover — comes in the second episode of season five, airing Thursday, April 17 on Peacock. NBC will also air the season premiere that night. Meloni also wrote the episode, his first time as a writer.
Peacock has also released a few photos from Hargitay's guest appearance, including the photo at the top and a photo of her standing with Stabler's organized crime boss, Sergeant Ayanna Bell (Danielle Moné Truitt) and his brother Randall (Dean Norris). You can see them below.
Season five of Law & Order: Organized Crime, Peacock's first season, follows Stabler as he goes undercover to uncover a cross-border smuggling ring. The season also delves into high-tech domestic terrorism and a crime family seeking retribution for Stabler's actions in Rome.
Rick Gonzalez and Ainsley Seiger also star in the series, and Nicky Torchia and Ellen Burstyn reprise their roles as Stabler's son Eli and mother Bernadette.
