SkyShowtime reveals the start date of the highly anticipated second season of Special Ops: Lioness

The second season of Special Ops: Lioness, written by Yellowstone co-creator and Oscar® nominee Taylor Sheridan, will soon debut exclusively on SkyShowtime The hit spy thriller Lioness returns to SkyShowtime with a new action-packed season. The drama series will premiere on October 27, 2024 on Paramount+ and on November 1 for two episodes on SkyShowtime, followed by a new episode every week. In the second season, Zoe Saldaña returns as the main character Joe and as executive producer of the series. The remainder of the returning all-star cast includes Laysla De Oliveira, Genesis Rodriguez, Emmy® nominee Michael Kelly, Oscar® winner Morgan Freeman, and Oscar and Emmy® winner Nicole Kidman, who also serves as executive producer. The series is produced by MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios.

As the CIA's war on terror comes closer to home, Joe (Saldaña), Kaitlyn (Kidman) and Byron (Kelly) recruit a new Lioness agent to infiltrate a previously unknown threat. Under increasing pressure from various quarters, Joe is confronted with the profound personal sacrifices she has made as leader of the Lioness program. In addition to the returning cast, the film also stars Dave Annable, Jill Wagner, LaMonica Garrett, James Jordan, Austin Hébert, Jonah Wharton, Thad Luckinbill and Hannah Love Lanier.
