Colin Firth demands answers in trailer for Lockerbie: A Search for Truth

The official trailer for the Peacock/Sky drama Lockerbie: A Search for Truth has been released. The five-part limited series is a dramatic retelling of the aftermath of the 1988 bombing of Pan Am Flight 103, Britain's deadliest terrorist attack ever. The horrific incident left 259 passengers and crew dead and a further 11 residents of Lockerbie lost their lives when the plane crashed into the small Scottish town.



Set over three decades, Lockerbie tells the story of Dr. Jim Swire, who lost his daughter Flora when Flight 103 exploded by a terrorist bomb just 38 minutes after takeoff. Swire risks everything as he mounts a decades-long campaign to uncover the truth behind the disaster and seek justice for those who lost their lives.

Oscar winner Colin Firth stars as Swire, with Catherine McCormack, Rosanna Adams, Jemma Carlton, Harry Redding, Sam Troughton, Mark Bonner, Ardalan Esmaili and Selwa Jghalef in the cast.

The series is directed and produced by Otto Bathurst (Peaky Blinders, His Dark Materials) and written and produced by Scottish playwright David Harrower.

Lockerbie: A Search for Truth debuts on Thursday, January 2 on Peacock in the US and Sky in the UK. The series can be seen on SkyShowtime from Friday 28 February.
