The series follows a police officer, Mickey (Seyfried), as she patrols a Philadelphia neighborhood hit hard by the opioid crisis. When a series of murders occur in the neighborhood, Mickey realizes that her personal history may be connected to the case.

Six actors have now been added in recurring roles (clockwise from left to right in photo): Dash Mihok, Britne Oldford, Matthew Del Negro, Harriet Sansom Harris, Patch Darragh and Perry Mattfeld.
Mihok plays Eddie, Oldford is cast as Aura, Del Negro is Simon, Harris plays Mrs. Mahon, Darragh can be seen as Sergeant Kevin Ahearn and Mattfeld has the role of Paula.
Mihok is best known for his role as Brendan 'Bunchy' Donovan on Showtime's Ray Donovan and was most recently seen in Fox series Accused (US) and HBO Max's Gossip Girl (2021) reboot.
Oldford's series roles include a starring role opposite Rachel Weisz in Prime Video's Dead Ringers, as well as The Umbrella Academy (Netflix), Ravenswood (ABC Family) and American Horror Story: Asylum (FX), among others.
Del Negro was recently seen in regular roles on Showtime's City on a Hill, starring Kevin Bacon, and Prime Video's Goliath, starring Billy Bob Thornton. He has had recurring roles on Scandal (ABC) and Teen Wolf (MTV), among others. He will soon be seen in MGM+'s Hotel Cocaine.
Nominated for an Emmy for her guest role on HBO Max's Hacks, Harris' other series roles include Disney's Marvel special Werewolf by Night, Ratched (Netflix) and ABC's Desperate Housewives. She will soon be seen in FX's Donald Sterling series Clipped.
In addition to HBO's Succession, Darragh has appeared in many different series and roles, including the Netflix limited series Kaleidoscope, Mr. Mercedes from Audience Network and Showtime's The Loudest Voice.
Mattfeld starred in The CW's In the Dark (2019) and had a recurring role on Showtime's Shameless (US).
Nikki Toscano and Liz Moore write and produce, with Toscano serving as showrunner. Neal H. Moritz, Pavun Shetty and Amanda Lewis produce for Original Film, along with Amy Pascal for Pascal Pictures, Seyfried and Russell Rothberg. Hagar Ben-Asher directs and produces the first episode of the series, which comes from Sony Pictures Television and UCP, a division of Universal Studio Group.
