I watched the fourth season, but I have to be honest, for me this is the weakest season so far. Where previous "volumes" really managed to surprise with strong concepts and emotional depth, this season felt less impactful as a whole. Many episodes remain on the surface and lack the sharpness and intensity that makes the series so special.
Visually it remains impressive. Episodes like How Zeke Got Religion and 400 Boys stand out with their unique 2D styles. Golgotha, with its fully live-action approach, is also very interesting.
Despite that visual power, I simply missed the substantive depth of previous seasons.
