Love, Victor is based on the movie Love, Simon from 2018. This movie was based on the book Simon vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda, which has been written by Becky Albertalli. Love, Victor will premiere on Hulu on the 19th of June. Michael Cimino (Training Day) will portray Victor. Apart from him, the cast will consist of Ana Ortiz (Whiskey Cavalier), James Martinez (The Deuce), George Sear (Will), Bebe Wood (Trollhunters) and Rachel Naomi Hilson (This Is Us).
The series revolves around Victor (played by Michael Cimino), a new student at Creekwood High School, the high school in the film. We follow his journey of self-discovery, challenges at home, and struggles with his sexual orientation. He reaches out to Simon, who can help him deal with the ups and downs of high school.
