Sixth season Lucifer still happening? Tom Ellis signed the contract

Recently, MySeries reported that a sixth season wasn't all that certain after all. Now, Ellis has signed the contract.

For quite some time it seemed that the fifth season of Lucifer would also be the final one. Netflix wanted more, but wasn't able to reach an agreement with lead actor Tom Ellis. Deadline has just reported that they've actually come to an agreement and signed a deal for the sixth season. Next to Ellis, producers Ildy Modrovich and Joe Henderson also signed for a sixth season.

Production on the fifth season of Lucifer has been halted due to corona, it is expected to resume near the end of the year. When production on the sixth season will begin, has not yet been revealed. Next to Ellis, the cast further consists of Lauren German, DB Woodside, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Kevin Alejandro, Rachael Harris, Aimee Garcia, Scarlett Estevez and Graham McTavish.
