Netflix unveils trailer for second season/part three of Lupin

Netflix has unveiled a trailer for Lupin season two, or as they announce it: part three. In the third part of the French crime thriller, Assane (Omar Sy) goes into hiding and learns to live far from his wife and son. Due to the suffering they have to endure because of him, Assane can no longer endure it and decides to return to Paris to make them an insane proposal: leave France and start a new life elsewhere. But the ghosts of the past are never far away and an unexpected return will turn his plans upside down.



The trailer showcases the usual mix of action and comedy expected from what has become one of Netflix's biggest international hits over the years, regularly charting well in the global charts and local top 10s.

A clip was released a few months ago and the first teaser trailer a year ago.

The series also stars Ludivine Sagnier, Antoine Gouy, Soufiane Guerrab and Shirine Boutella. Lupine was created by George Kay and François Uzan for Netflix and Gaumont Télévision. Ludovic Bernard, Podz and Xavier Gens direct.

The original French series is a contemporary adaptation of the novels by French writer Maurice LeBlanc, who created the character in 1905. The books have been adapted into dozens of television series and films over the years.
