While Luz will be mainly predictable and very mild for the parents, beautiful adventures will unfold for the children's eyes.Luz is one of Netflix's newest additions, a heartwarming children's series about a girl who is rescued from her grandfather and who grows up with an indigenous tribe in the rainforest of Brazil. She goes from a free, casual and loving world to an elite boarding school when her grandfather discovers she is still alive.
Luz is a nine-year-old girl raised by a loving woman from the Kaingang tribe. They are the only family she knows, although she doesn't like her family much either. All the other children of the tribe are allowed into the city, but she is not. Luz is a stubborn girl who will stop at nothing and knows the rainforest like the back of her hand. She can ask her fireflies to show her the way, which creates beautiful images for many children.
The series is aimed at primary school age. It teaches children about the challenges at school. We see Luz take on challenges and stop at nothing. She also gets into trouble, but always manages to get out of it. This first episode has both a bit of tension and a lot of positivity. We can certainly reassure the parental front about this series. Luz does not experience any exaggerated adventures, but the makers of this series clearly have an eye for the target group. While it will be mainly predictable and very mild for the parents, beautiful adventures will unfold before the children's eyes. Luz is accompanied in her little adventures by fireflies. They will show her the light and illuminate her path to her happiness.
