Manifest will not be taken over

When Manifest was cancelled by NBC, there was a little bit of hope for a takeover by another network or streaming service. That will not happen either. A couple of days ago, NBC announced the ending of Manifest. Back in 2018, the series premiered. In total, three seasons have been released. The fans and creator had high hopes for a potential takeover. Netflix seemed to be the most likely. The first two seasons had fairly high ratings on the platform.

The streaming service had entered negotiations with Warner Bros TV, but unfortunately, it appears that Netflix has eventually decided not to take over. This means that a fourth season is now completely out of the picture. Warner Bros TV has decided to stop selling the series as rights and cast contracts ended.

Manifest revolves around the passengers and crew of Montego Air Flight 828. Once they arrived safely after a turbulent routine flight, they were relieved. In that short flight, somehow, the entire world aged five years and their friends, families and colleagues had grieved and given up hope. Now, confronted with the impossible, they have all been given a second chance. After everything becomes more clear, an even bigger mystery unfolds.
