Agent Phil Coulson keert terug naar de wereldwijde rechtshandhavingsorganisatie S.H.I.E.L.D. Hij zet een klein, zeer goed opgeleid team van agenten in voor zaken die nog niet geclassificeerd zijn: het nieuwe, het vreemde en het onbekende. Dat team bestaat uit Grant Ward, een expert in het gevecht en spionage, piloot en martial artist Agent Melinda May, en de geweldige, maar ook sociaal onhandige wetenschappers Agent Leo Fitz en Agent Jemma Simmons. Ze zullen worden vergezeld door de nieuwe rekruut en computer hacker Skye.

Started with season 5 but flushed it very quickly. Terrible, what started as a fun series has ended in drama. How do the makers come up with it. For me it is now over.

First 3 seasons with an upward trend. Yesterday season 4 finished and significantly less than season 3. Long-winded often and "unreal" in many scenes. By this I do not mean the SciFi, that is of course "unreal". But especially the endless conversation where you ask yourself whether the fellow players are drinking coffee. Sorry, can't explain it better. I'm definitely going to watch season 5, I'm curious.

By far the worst series that can be seen at the moment, roughly together with Priveval: New World. The humor is dramatic, the storyline apparently only starts at episode 12. I really don't like this at all and completely agree with gumstarr. Waste of time.

I think the series is great. Along with game of thrones and once upon a time my favorite series. Got started late. But after that, the series is really good too. It started with a score of 4 but give it a big 8 against the last s1 episodes. I can't say anything about s2 yet because I watch with mom and mom prefers subtitles. If it's not on TV, I'll watch it online anyway. Fitz Simmons and May are reason enough for me to keep watching. I don't find Sky itself interesting, and neither does Ward (not even as a bad guy). But the series is certainly not a waste of time once you're past the half, it's even brilliant. What the series is, however, is slowly starting out, so if you're someone who doesn't like waiting or wants a top series straight from ep 1, this series isn't for you. But the series isn't bad. Especially not at the end. If there is anything waste of time, it is at most the beginning, but the later part is more fun if you watch all episodes.

I've liked the series since the beginning, but it was indeed not a format that could last long. The switch to the somewhat 'darker' story of Hydra and the aliens has been a great point in the series, and it's only gotten stronger since then! Season 2 is one of the best things on TV (uhm.... American TV, then ;-) ) at the moment: the storylines are right and come together in a great and exciting way, the characters are highly developed (look at Skye, Ward and FitzSimmons for example), and fantastic new characters and actors have been added (Mockingbird, Hunter, the creepy doctor/father (brrr... McLachlan is a great actor for this role!), etc. .). All in all, it's become a series that can continue to run this way for seasons (but let's first see that it stays so good, and that at least one more season 3 is ordered by ABC). Let's hope that Veronica also picks up season 2 for eg January (like last year).
