After the events that took place in THE AVENGERS, Agent Phil Coulson returns to the worldwide law enforcement organization S.H.I.E.L.D. where he puts together a small, highly trained, team of Agents to tackle the cases that haven’t been classified yet, the new, the strange and the unknown. That team consists of straight arrow Agent Grant Ward, an expert in combat and espionage; pilot and martial artist Agent Melinda May; and brilliant if socially awkward scientists Agent Leo Fitz and Agent Jemma Simmons. They’ll be joined by civilian new recruit and computer hacker Skye.

Weak start to this series, but I'm glad I kept watching. This series only seems to get better and better.

Go watch episode 2 today. Hopefully better than the 1st. Because it was very disappointing. It's nice that Josh W uses some actors from his own former series.

I was really looking forward to this series but was really disappointed in the sometimes somewhat flat story in the beginning. After about five episodes I stopped and only now I picked it up again. And I'm glad I did! The season just got better and I can't wait for season 2. If they keep up/continue the upward trend then this is one of the best series you can see on TV right now.

I think it's a good series! In the beginning I just thought it was 'entertaining', but now I find it really exciting and the storyline starts to deepen more and more. Now waiting until March for a new episode. :'(
