In the final season, The Watcher (voiced by Jeffrey Wright) will guide viewers as the series crosses new genres, bigger spectacles and incredible new characters, Marvel said. In addition to Storm, Shang-Chi and Agatha Harkness, the upcoming season will feature fan-favorite characters such as Captain America/Sam Wilson, The Winter Soldier/Bucky Barnes, Hulk/Bruce Banner, Red Guardian and Captain Peggy Carter.
The episodes are directed by Bryan Andrews and Stephan Franck and written by Matthew Chauncey, Ryan Little and A.C. Bradley.
Executive producers are Brad Winderbaum, Kevin Feige, Louis D'Esposito, Dana Vasquez-Eberhardt and Bryan Andrews, with co-executive producer Matthew Chauncey and producers Danielle Costa, Carrie Wassenaar and Alex Scharf.
Marvel's What If...? season three will be available to stream on Disney+ from Sunday, December 22, with a new episode every day for eight days.
