Mayans MC (2018) is a spin-off to the popular series Sons of Anarchy. The spin-off was announced in 2018, which was four years after the original series ended. Since then, three more seasons have released. The final episode of the third season will air on the 11th of May. The spin-off will not conclude soon as FX has already renewed Mayans MC (2018) with its fourth season. This newly announced season is expected to release in 2022.
Mayans MC takes place two and a half years after the events of Sons of Anarchy. The story revolves around Ezekiel "EZ" Reyes, who is part of Mayans MC. They are located between the border of California and Mexico. EZ is the gifted son of a proud Latino family, whose American dream was wiped away due to cartel violence. EZ wants revenge but this leads him to a life he never wanted. Co-creator and showrunner Elgin James (The Offenders) told American media that they are looking forward to delving deeper into the truths of each character and explore the dangerous world they live in.
