McDonald & Dodds premiered on ITV in March 2020. The first season consists of two episodes. Starting from the 21st of June, BBC First will air the episodes. The series revolves around the ambitious detective McDonald and the shy, modest detective Dodds. The duo has to solve crimes in the town of Bath. Robert Murphy (Shetland) has created the series.
The second season of the series premiered on ITV in March 2021, which consists of three episodes. By now, it has been confirmed that lead actors Tala Gouveia (Tracey Ullman's Show) and Jason Watkins (The Crown) will return for a third season.
