No new christmas party for Merry Happy Whatever

Christmas has been cancelled for the Quinn family. Netflix has decided not to order a second season of the Christmas comedy.

Creator Tucker Cawley (A Million Little Things) revealed the news via social media, and immediately thanked fans, cast and the crew, Last November, the Christmas comedy premiered and had a first season that consisted of eight episodes. The critics were divided, and apparently, the show didn't have enough viewers to warrant a second season.

Merry Happy Whatever revolves around the Quinn family, who live in Philadelphia. The head of the family is grumpy police officer Don (Dennis Quaid, Goliath). When his youngest daughter (Bridget Mendler, Undateable (2014)), who lives in Los Angeles, takes her new boyfriend (Brent Morin, Crunch Time) with her for Christmas, Don isn't happy at all.
