Mijn vieze vette vervelende verloofde is a Dutch reality program which is aired on RTL 5. The serie premiered on Augustus 12, 2012.
For the series, a candidate is selected who has the appearance of a model. She is paired with a man who is her opposite in every way. She is told to convince her family that she is engaged to this man and that they will get married in a fortnight. If her entire family is there and does not object during the ceremony, she wins 50,000 euros, half of which is for her family. She thinks her 'fiancé' has had the same challenge, but this one is secretly in on the plot and will start making things as difficult as possible for her, playing clumsy, unstable and awkward. After getting to know each other better, they have to convince their friends and family of the proposed marriage. However, the fiancée's family is also fake, as they too are actors.
