Mission Earth gets a second season

Yesterday it was announced on Twitter that the VPRO series Mission Earth gets a new season. Mission Earth, the first Dutch science fiction comedy, is set in the year 2063. Seven Dutch astronauts fight against the various natural disasters with only one goal: finding a new planet for humanity.

Because of the melting of the polar cap and other natural disasters, the earth is almost entirely flooded. Will the astronauts find a new home for humanity?

When the new season of Mission Earth will be broadcast has not been announced yet.
