Guy Ritchie's MobLand has also brought Ozark actress Janet McTeer on board

Guy Ritchie's MobLand has also brought Ozark actress Janet McTeer on board

The all-star cast of Guy Ritchie's crime drama MobLand has been expanded with the addition of another notable name.
Janet McTeer (pictured) is part of the Paramount+ series MobLand, premiering Sunday, March 30 (in the Netherlands, Monday, June 9 on SkyShowtime). The Emmy and two-time Oscar nominee joins an ensemble led by Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren.

MobLand centers on a London-based Irish crime family headed by Brosnan’s Conrad Harrigan, that’s fighting for power within a global syndicate. Mirren plays his wife, Maeve — “the brains behind the charm,” as Brosnan’s character describes her in the series trailer — and Hardy plays Harry Da Souza, the family’s fixer.

McTeer (The Old Man, Ozark) plays Kat, a character who is "as charming as she is violent," according to the character's description. "Crime bosses from London to Beijing are wary of crossing swords with her."

The MobLand cast also includes Paddy Considine, Joanne Froggatt, Lara Pulver, Anson Boon, Mandeep Dhillon, Jasmine Jobson, Geoff Bell, Daniel Betts, Lisa Dwan and Emily Barber.

McTeer received Oscar nominations for her work in Tumbleweeds (for which she won a Golden Globe) and Albert Nobbs and an Emmy nomination for her role in the HBO film Into the Storm. Her television roles also include Netflix's Kaos, Disney+'s Jessica Jones and Facebook Watch's Sorry For Your Loss.
