Edward Theodore Gein, born in 1906, was also known as the Butcher of Plainfield and the Plainfield Ghoul. Not only was Gein a murderer, but in 1957 it was discovered that he had been stealing bodies from local cemeteries around his hometown of Plainfield, Wisconsin. Gein's crimes were the inspiration for countless books, films and television programs, most notably the novel and film Psycho.
Season two of Monster, focusing on the Menendez brothers, dropped on Netflix in September and has been a huge success for the streamer. Production on season three of the anthology series begins next month. A start date will be announced later.
Metcalf is best known as Jackie Harris, Roseanne Barr's sister on the ABC sitcom Roseanne, a role she reprized in the sequel series The Conners. She also played Mary Cooper, Sheldon Cooper's mother, on CBS's The Big Bang Theory.
Hollander recently appeared as Truman Capote in Feud: Capote Vs. FX's The Swans and had roles in HBO's The White Lotus, FX/BBC's Taboo (2017) and BBC/AMC's The Night Manager, among others.
Williams most recently appeared in the second season of Prime Video's The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power as Winterblossom the Entwife and will appear in the upcoming HBO series Dune: Prophecy. She also appeared as Camilla Parker-Bowles in Netflix's The Crown.
