Mordach - Tod in den Bergen is a German crime series which aired on Das Erste. The series premiered on April 27, 2023.

Mordach – Death in the Mountains begins with what is actually a relaxing vacation for Cuma Ozan (Mehmet Kurtuluş). But when the Frankfurt investigator finds a body in the forest during his break in the harsh mountains of Mordach, the stranger quickly becomes the main suspect - after all, he was the last person to see the young woman. However, drugged by alcohol and drugs, he can hardly remember meeting her. The victim is Laura Brunner (Lea Louisa Wolfram), the daughter of the most powerful man in the valley. For the local police officer Toni Brandner (Sarah Bauerett), the mysterious stranger is more than suspicious, as he is not very cooperative. Cuma, who has been working as an undercover investigator in the Frankfurt clan milieu for years, finally receives help from his superior, Helene Brecht (Gesine Cukrowski). She negotiates a deal with the public prosecutor's office and places her employee at the side of the inexperienced small-town police officer. The unlikely duo are supposed to solve the murder case together - but in the course of the investigation, dark sides of the idyllic mountain world of Mordach emerge
