ABC Renews Motive for Season 2

ABC has ordered a second season of Motive, its Canadian-made summer drama series. "Motive" marks the third ABC summer series to earn a renewal in the last few weeks, following the pickups of newbie soap "Mistresses" and summer mainstay "Rookie Blue."

The Canadian drama, which stars Lauren Holly and Kristin Lehman, was already renewed by Canada's CTV. In America, the first season capped off with 4.7 million viewers. The show’s second season is slated to premiere on ABC next Summer.
