ITV has announced that they ordered ten new episodes of ‘Mr. Selfridge’ The second season of the show with Jeremy Piven is now being aired and the next season will be about the downward spiral which his character will end up in.
The warehouse drama is based on the life of the flamboyant American entrepreneur Harry Gordon Selfridge, founder of the luxurious shopping malls Selfridge.
The second season had an average of 6.4 million viewers and is the number one show on that timeslot. ‘Mr Selfridge’ second season continued on 1914 and the shop celebrated his fifth anniversary. ‘Mr Selfridge’ also tells the story about the imminent treat of the First World War in Europe. The third season will continue in 1919.
