Hulu releases trailer for Murdaugh: Death in the Family

Hulu has released the official trailer for the upcoming limited drama series Murdaugh: Death in the Family.Murdaugh: Death in the Family is based on the infamous Murdaugh case and inspired by the Murdaugh Murders podcast. The series, developed by showrunner Michael D. Fuller along with Erin Lee Carr, tells the story of the influential Murdaugh family in South Carolina.

At the center are Alex and Maggie Murdaugh (played by Jason Clarke and Patricia Arquette), who see their powerful legal dynasty come under pressure after their son Paul (Johnny Berchtold) is involved in a fatal boat crash. As more details come to light, and other mysterious deaths are linked to the family, their carefully crafted reputation threatens to crumble.

In addition to Clarke, Arquette, and Berchtold, the cast includes Will Harrison, Brittany Snow, J. Smith-Cameron, Gerald McRaney, and Noah Emmerich. Clarke and Arquette also serve as executive producers.

Other producers include Nick Antosca and Alex Hedlund for Eat the Cat, along with Mandy Matney, David Moses, and Bill Johnson. Steven Piet serves as an executive producer and directed multiple episodes.

Murdaugh: Death in the Family consists of eight episodes and premieres on Wednesday, October 15, with three episodes released simultaneously. A new episode will then be available every Wednesday, with the season finale on November 19.
