Netflix Renews My Life with the Walter Boys for a Third Season

In preparation for season two, Netflix has renewed My Life with the Walter Boys for a third season. The young adult series, based on the book by Ali Novak, follows Jackie Howard (Nikki Rodriguez) as she moves in with her late mother's best friend, Katherine (Sarah Rafferty), who has nine sons and one daughter. In the series and the book, Jackie is torn between Alex and Cole Walter, two very different brothers.

After the first season premiered in late 2023, Netflix quickly renewed the series for a second season, which has wrapped production in Calgary, Canada.

In addition to Rodriguez and Rafferty, the series features recurring cast members Noah LaLonde as Cole Walter, Ashby Gentry as Alex Walter, Marc Blucas, who plays Katherine’s husband George, Connor Stanhope as Danny Walter, Johnny Link as Will Walter, Corey Fogelmanis as Nathan Walter, and Jaylan Evans as Skylar Summerhill.

Season two added five cast members in recurring roles: Natalie Sharp, Carson MacCormac, Janet Kidder, Riele Downs, and Jake Manley.

Novak recently wrote a sequel, My Return to the Walter Boys , but the book didn’t have much of an impact on the production of season two.
