Netflix Unveils Teaser for My Life with the Walter Boys Season Two

Netflix has unveiled the first teaser for the second season of the hit YA series My Life With the Walter Boys, based on the book by Ali Novak.
After the turbulent events at the end of the first season — which saw Alex Walter (played by Ashby Gentry) declare his love to Jackie Howard (Nikki Rodriguez) while his brother Cole (Noah LaLonde) unexpectedly kiss her — Jackie decides to flee to New York City in order to get some distance and clear her head.

In the teaser, we hear Jackie’s voice saying, “I’ve been thinking all summer about how and why I left.” As she walks through the busy streets of New York, the city that was once her home, she says, “I don’t belong anywhere anymore.”

Katherine Walter (Sarah Rafferty), Jackie’s late mother’s best friend and her pillar of support, is convinced that Jackie does have a place: in Silver Falls, Colorado, with the Walter family. Katherine, her husband George (Marc Blucas), their nine sons and one daughter live there.

When Jackie finally decides to return to the Walters’ ranch, it is not without tension. Both brothers involved in the love drama are not exactly looking forward to her return. Alex in particular, who worked as a ranch hand during the summer, seems to have changed. He has had a remarkable “glow up,” something that even his handsome older brother Cole remarks on when he picks Alex up from the bus.

The teaser ends with a telling question from Cole to Jackie: “Why did you really come back?”

The second season of My Life with the Walter Boys will be released on Netflix on Thursday, August 28. Watch the teaser below.
