The American crime series Narcos: Mexico has been renewed with a third season. This new season will, however, be without Diego Luna.
Netflix has renewed Narcos: Mexico with a third season. The series premiered back in 2018, and is a spin-off to Narcos. Narcos: Mexico revolves around the arrival of the Guadalajara cartel in 1980. An American DEA agent finds out how dangerous it can be to keep track of a cartel in Mexico.
Diego Luna (3Below: Tales of Arcadia) portrayed the lead character, FĂ©lix Gallardo. After the second season, there were some rumours that Luna wasn't going to return for a third season. Next to that, Eric Newman (Hemlock Grove) will no longer serve as showrunner. He'll be replaced with co-creator of the series Carlo Bernard (Narcos). Newman remains present as an executive producer.
