Neuer Wind im Alten Land

Neuer Wind im Alten Land is an German drama series which is aired on ZDF. The series premiered on April 21st, 2024.

The story centers on well-known journalist Beke Rieper (Felicitas Woll), who has worked for the world's largest media companies. After false sources in a scandalous article prove fatal to her, her reputation is tarnished in the industry. Returning to her parents' orchard in the Altes Land region, she takes a job in the small editorial office of the Altländer Tageszeitung newspaper under editor-in-chief Norbert Heuer (Christoph Glaubacker). However, he demands that she only cover small, local stories, which Beke finds little interest in. Beke must learn to trust herself and her abilities again in order to find an emotional and gripping story for her new newspaper in the face of the inconspicuous story.
