CBS cancels The Lincoln Lawyer from David E. Kelley

Last year, CBS ordered The Lincoln Lawyer from David E. Kelley (Harry's Law). The network has now decided to discontinue the series.
Last year August, CBS ordered The Lincoln Lawyer from writer and producer David E. Kelley (Big Little Lies). When all productions were halted due to the coronavirus, The Lincoln Lawyer had almost finished pre-production. The series was set to release during the upcoming pilot season at CBS, but CBS has decided not to move forward with the series. It could very well be that the project will be sold to a different network or platform, but nothing about this has been revealed.

The cast for the series was already revealed. Logan Marshall-Green (Damnation) would portray the lead character, next to that Kiele Sanchez (Kingdom) and Angus Sampson (The Walking Dead) would star in the series. The Lincoln Lawyer was based on the books of Michael Connelly. When CBS decided to cancel the series, two scripts had just been sent in.
