History Channel cancels Knightfall and Project Blue Blook

History Channel cancels Knightfall and Project Blue Blook

History Channel has cancelled two series. Knightfall and Project Blue Book both haven't been renewed after their second season.
Project Blue Book is inspired by personal experiences from Dr J. Allen Hynek (Aiden Gillen, Peaky Blinders), who has been appointed by the American airforce to lead an operation called Project Blue Book. The series premiered in January 2019. The series finale aired on the 24th of March.

Knightfall has been cancelled after its second season. The final season ended in May last year. The American action series revolves around the fall and persecution of the Holy Templars in the fourteenth century. The series focuses on Templar leader Sir Landry, who has been discouraged by the failure of The Templars in the Holy Land.

This means that Vikings is the only remaining scripted series of the network, which is currently airing its final season. A spin-off based on Vikings will be released on Netflix.

Too bad about Knightfall, but I am glad that it is finally known. Waited a long time for news on this.

What a pity, this was one of the best series on this subject in years. Many events are based on facts. Why cancel this series? So many stupid series are renewed indefinitely and then stop with a topper like this? Such a pity...
