The cast for The Beast Must Die is complete

The recording process of the new BritBox series The Beast Must Die can start. The cast is complete and Jared Harris (Chernobyl) will portray a lead character. Starting from next week Monday, the recording process for The Beast Must Die - one of the first original drama series from BritBox - will start. The series is an adaptation of the book with the same name by Nicholas Blake, which released back in 1938. It revolves around a grieving mother who infiltrates into the life of her husband, who's life would be the cause of her son's death.

Jared Harris (Chernobyl) will portray one of the lead characters. Cush Jumbo (The Good Wife), Billy Howle (MotherFatherSon) and Nathaniel Parker (The Inspector Lynley Mysteries) will also portray lead characters. Next to that, Geraldine James (Back to Life), Maeve Dermody (Carnival Row) and newcomers Mia Tomlinson and Barney Sayburn will also be part of the cast.

The five-part series will be recorded with the help of various safety protocols. The cast and crew will be tested for corona regularly and everyone has to wear mouth masks, apart from the actors who are recording a scene.
