Lead roles for Sissy Spacek and Ed O'Neill in science fiction series Lightyears from Amazon Prime Video

Amazon Prime Video is working on a new science fiction series called Lightyears. Sissy Spacek (Castle Rock) and Ed O'Neill (Modern Family) will portray the lead characters.

Slowly but steadily, more information is revealed about the new series Lightyears. Now, it has been revealed that Sissy Spacek (Castle Rock) and Ed O'Neill (Modern Family) will portray big roles in Lightyears. The recording process of Lightyears will start later this year, which means we will likely not have to wait for lightyears before the premiere happens. The science fiction series will become available on Amazon Prime Video.

Respectively, Spacek and O'Neill will portray Irene and Franklin York. The couple found a secret room in their backyard a couple of years ago. The room somehow leads to a strange and abandoned planet. Since then, they've kept this room a secret. The quiet existence of the Yorks is turned upside down when a mysterious young man enters their life.
