Monsieur Spade by Scott Frank and Tom Fontana has found its lead actor

The lead character in the new series Monsieur Spade has found its actor. Now, the series is offered to interested parties. Clive Owen will portray the lead role in Monsieur Spade. It revolves around the great detective Sam Spade, who lives his golden years in the small town of Bozuls in Southern France. The year is 1963, the Algerian war only just ended and it will not take long before Spade's rest is over. The story comes from writer Dashiell Hammett from the book The Maltese Falcon, which released in 1930.
