Five new cast members for Hungry

NBC has revealed five new cast members for Hungry. Demi Lovato portrays the lead character. Hungry follows a group of friends, who met each other due to a group for people with food issues. They help each other as they're looking for love, success and the perfect thing in the refrigerator that'll make them all happy. Anna Akana (Jupiter's Legacy), Alex Brightman (Beetlejuice), Ashley D. Kelley (Insatiable), Jay Klaitz (FBI) and Rory O'Malley (Snowpiercer) have joined the cast of Hungry. In the series, Demi Lovato (Law & Order: Special Victims Unit) portrays the lead character. Lovato is also the executive producer.

Akana portrays Wednesday, who appears to be just the thing she actually is, a trophy wife. But it takes quite a lot to keep that image intact. Brightman portrays Cooper, a man who tries to lose weight for his wedding. It just goes a bit differently than planned. Kelley portrays Nicole, a divorce lawyer. Klaitz is Danny, a man with too big an appetite. In between food, drugs, alcohol and strip clubs he lives in the moment and just doesn't seem to worry about his future. O'Malley portrays Linus, whose heart is broken, which makes him determined to lose weight and become a heart breaker himself.
